9.40 Keynote External - David Withington, Alcatel Lucent IMS Marketing Director.  The proposed theme of the   keynote is :"In their unique position, an operator should be able to bring together a common enriched communications experience for end-users across all devices that would serve as a basis for sustained differentiation. This simple concept seems to hold great potential but for many reasons remains elusive. This talk explores how to make this vision into a reality, bringing together IMS, initiatives such as the Rich Communications Suite and Web2.0."

12.00 External Speaker – Toon Norp, Business Consultant TNO  : Presentation on business cases for IMS and the state of the Telecomms market, what operators are using it, what the commercial rollout timelines are, key business drivers, enabling/ orthogonal technologies

12.30 Shane Dempsey, TSSG  : Technical/Architecture oriented presentation –: Discussion of OpenIMS testbed, tools such as Glassfish, infrastructure such as ServiceMix and CXF and their use within the IMS ARCS project

1.00 Lunch and possibly ongoing demonstrations of IMS ARCS demos from TSSG, AIT and NUI Maynooth
